CrossPointe Fellowship is a thriving, growing, friendly Southern Baptist congregation that was originally known as Island Baptist Church. The land at 8605 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach was donated in 1950 by Mr. and Mrs. James Forrester, and through countless changes, 62 years later the church still meets at this same address. A new sanctuary was constructed and opened in 1987, and the two-story fellowship hall and education building was opened in 1999. In 2007 the congregation agreed on the new name "Crosspointe Fellowship," and Pastor Ed Moss accepted the call to lead Crosspointe in August 2010.
Service to the Holmes Beach and Anna Maria community as a witness to faith is key at CrossPointe Fellowship. The "CrossPointe In Action" (CIA) outreach serves the sick, the shut-in, and the disabled on Anna Maria Island, while the church's "Heart to Heart" team delivers meals in times of need such as bereavement or illness. The church also serves as a frequent venue for performances by the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra.
CrossPointe offers opportunities for the entire family to be involved in worship music, community service, Bible studies, missions trips, and a variety of other programs. Whether you've been a churchgoer for years, or if you're an inquiring new spiritual seeker, CrossPointe Fellowship is a warm, friendly church that welcomes you. Pastor Ed Moss and the congregation at CrossPointe invite you to traditional worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Please be aware that service times may change. CrossPointe Fellowship is entirely handicapped-accessible, child care is provided during services, and parking is always plentiful and free. You can all CrossPointe Fellowship at (941) 778-0719 or visit their website at Crosspointe Felloship.
